  • Please keep the following guidelines in mind when preparing your performance:
    1. There is no minumum or maximum number of pieces required for your performance but there is a time limit. (30 minutes)
    2. You have 30 min for your entire performance which includes set up, warm up, tuning, and performance. Anything over that limit will result in a 10 point deduction penalty.
    3. Scores are not required but recommended (copies are ok)

Concert & Award Ceremony

Please dont forget to join us on March 3rd for a Free concert featuring the Eklectic Jazz Ensemble conducted by Dr. Willie Hill ! There will be a Dinner sponsored by the Hanks Band Boosters from 5-7pm in the Hanks Cafeteria and the Concert starts promptly at 7pm.

Dr. Willie Hill is Director of the Fine Arts Center at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Professor in Music Education. He received his B.S. degree from Grambling State University and earned M.M. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
